We got wonderful news today! Our own 'little' Peanut, formally known as 'In A Nutshell', took the Best Veteran award at the Rottweiler Club of Canada Regional held in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan! 10 years old and lookin' great! Way to go Peanut!!!!!! | |

 3.5 Years
"Peanut" is a littermate to "Leroy," and a product of our first breeding. Peanut is co-owned by Darkstone Kennel with Sheryl Kipp of Battleford, Saskatchewan. Sheryl is the owner of Aramar Kennel, which was one of Canada's top Rottweiler kennels for many years, and produced two #1 overall Canadian Kennel Club Rottweiler champions: Can./ Am. CH Aramar's Abraham Griswold (Grizz). CH Wyndhurst's Cara, CD, Aramars' top producing female, was also the #1 overall female Rottweiler in Canada in 1991. Our first female show dog Bella, is a full sister to "Grizz", and the daughter of Wyndhurst's Cara.
 3.5 Years
Peanut shares many of Leroy's characteristics. She has a great head, with a short, deep muzzle, and a very pronounced stop. The fore skull is very significant, with a very nice ear set. Peanut has a very dark eye, just like Leroy. Peanut is a medium-sized female, but is very muscular. In particular, Peanut has a very strong, muscular rear end, which she passed on to her first litter of puppies. She is also very strong and straight in the front, and moves very well, with a great deal of power for a female.
 4.5 Years
Peanut is very much an alpha female. While very well socialized, and a great dog in the show ring, she will dominate other females in her vicinity when not in the ring. However, she is a very affectionate lap dog to all she knows. Peanut was rated OFA "Good" in her hips, and her elbows rated OFA normal.
